After a trip to Brazil in 2014, Paiheme reconnected with his childhood passion, drawing and pure illustration. In his works, he favors black and white and it is naturally that pens and Indian ink become his favorite tools.
He quickly became passionate about graphically dense works and admired the work of Japanese mangakas like K. Otomo and T. Nihei, but also of French artists like Mc Bess, G. Doré or P. Druillet.
